Role Description This is a full-time remote freelance role for an IBM FileNet & Business Automation Workflow (BAW) Developer based in the Delhi/NCR region. The developer will design, develop, and maintain solutions using IBM FileNet and BAW, including configuring repositories, workflows, and integrations with enterprise applications. Daily responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, creating technical designs, developing workflows and automation components, and ensuring robust document and content management capabilities. The role involves troubleshooting and optimizing existing FileNet and BAW implementations, performing unit and integration testing, and preparing technical documentation and deployment guides. The developer will collaborate with project managers, architects, and other technical stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions and may support client demos, production rollouts, and post-deployment enhancements.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in IBM FileNet development and administration, including configuration, customization, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), process design, workflow orchestration, and integration with external systems.
- Proficiency in enterprise application development using Java/J2EE or similar languages, with familiarity in APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and integration patterns.
- Experience with databases (such as Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server), including query optimization, schema design, and data migration related to content management solutions.
- Knowledge of content management, document management, and records management concepts, including security, retention, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience working in remote, distributed teams, with effective communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, version control systems (such as Git), and standard SDLC processes, including testing and deployment automation.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in IBM FileNet, BAW, or closely related enterprise content management and workflow platforms.
