Job Description
Responsibilities
• Oversee the daily operations of the IP and OP pharmacy departments, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
• Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, providing guidance, motivation, and professional development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and hospital policies related to pharmacy operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve pharmacy processes, enhance patient care, and optimize inventory management.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of medications.
• Monitor and maintain the quality and safety of pharmaceutical services, conducting regular audits and assessments.
• Address patient queries and concerns regarding medications, providing expert advice and information.
• Lead initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and foster a patient-centric environment.
• Prepare and manage the pharmacy budget, optimizing resources and controlling costs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure timely procurement and availability of medications.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures to safeguard against medication errors.
• Stay updated on advancements in pharmaceutical practices and integrate new technologies and methodologies into the pharmacy operations.
Qualification
B.Pharm/D.Pharm with valid Pharmacy Council registration; MBA/M.Pharm preferred
