The Role
As our Performance Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, executing, managing and scaling performance marketing campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google Ads and other relevant platforms.
You will be expected to work independently, identify opportunities, test aggressively, understand what is working and what isn't, and continuously improve campaign performance.
The ideal candidate is someone who is highly analytical, commercially minded, proactive and hungry to grow — someone who looks at a campaign and immediately starts thinking about how to make it better.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute performance marketing strategies focused on revenue growth, customer acquisition and profitable scaling.
- Plan, launch and optimise campaigns across Meta, Google Ads and other relevant advertising platforms.
- Take complete ownership of campaign performance — from strategy and planning through execution, optimisation and reporting.
- Manage advertising budgets responsibly and continuously optimise towards key business metrics such as ROAS, CAC, conversion rate, revenue and contribution margin.
- Analyse campaign, customer and website data to understand what is driving sales and what is holding growth back.
- Continuously test new audiences, creatives, offers, landing pages, campaign structures, bidding strategies and funnels.
- Work closely with the creative team to identify what types of ads, messaging and content actually drive conversions.
- Translate performance data into actionable creative briefs and testing ideas.
- Monitor campaigns regularly and proactively take corrective action when performance changes — without waiting to be told.
- Identify opportunities to scale winning campaigns while controlling acquisition costs.
- Build and maintain accurate tracking using tools such as Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, UTM tracking and conversion tracking.
- Maintain a clear understanding of the complete customer journey — from ad impression to click, product page, checkout and purchase.
- Conduct regular competitor, market and platform research to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Explore and test new advertising platforms, technologies, automation tools and marketing channels when there is a potential business case.
- Develop regular performance reports with clear insights, learnings, problems and recommended next steps.
- Collaborate with creative, content, e-commerce and other internal teams to ensure marketing activity is aligned with overall business objectives.
- Stay up to date with changes to Meta, Google and other advertising platforms and quickly adapt strategies accordingly.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who takes ownership.
You should be comfortable being given a business objective and figuring out how to get there rather than waiting for someone to tell you exactly what to do.
The ideal candidate:
- Has 2–4 years of hands-on performance marketing experience.
- Has independently managed meaningful advertising budgets.
- Has strong hands-on experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads.
- Understands performance metrics such as ROAS, CAC, CPA, CTR, CPC, CPM, CVR, AOV, LTV and contribution margin.
- Is highly comfortable working with data and analytics.
- Has a strong understanding of e-commerce funnels and customer acquisition.
- Has experience running and interpreting A/B tests.
- Understands the relationship between creative, audience, offer, landing page and conversion rate.
- Can identify problems independently and come back with solutions rather than just reporting problems.
- Is comfortable experimenting, learning quickly and trying new approaches.
- Has strong communication and organisational skills.
- Can work independently without constant supervision or micromanagement.
- Is highly detail-oriented but also capable of seeing the bigger business picture.
- Has a genuine interest in growth, consumer behaviour, advertising and building brands.
