Job details:
Snugs is an Indian baby products brand. We make carriers, wraps and babywear in Kochi using export-grade, toxin-free fabrics, and we have served 30,000+ parents. We are hiring a designer who will own the static creative that carries our paid social, and who will also run our organic social channels day to day.
What you will do
This role has two halves. On the paid side, you will design static ads for Meta and Google, in volume. Not one polished post a week, but a steady stream of concepts on a daily basis built to be tested against each other. Every ad has a job: stop the scroll, land one benefit, earn the click. On the organic side, you will manage our Instagram, Facebook and other brand pages so they stay active, consistent and genuinely useful to the parents who follow us.
Paid creative
- Build static ad creative for Meta and Google: single images, carousels, collages, graphic layouts, before and after frames
- Turn product benefits into visual hooks that hold up on a small screen
- Use AI image tools as part of your workflow so we can produce many distinct concepts quickly
- Retouch and composite product photography from our in-house shoots
- Set on-image text and typography within our brand system
- Build variations of winning concepts and keep a clear library of what has run
- Work closely with the growth team on what to test next and what the results say
Social media management
- Plan and run a monthly content calendar across Instagram, Facebook and other brand channels
- Design and publish feed posts, carousels and stories, and coordinate reels with our video team
- Write captions and keep the brand voice warm, clear and consistent
- Respond to comments and DMs, and flag customer questions or feedback to the right team
- Track organic reach, engagement and follower growth, and use what you learn to improve the next month's plan
- Keep an eye on trends, formats and platform updates that fit the brand
What we are looking for
- 2+ years designing for paid social, ecommerce or D2C brands, with hands-on experience managing brand social accounts
- A portfolio of ad creative and social content, not only brand or print work. We want to see layouts that were made to sell
- Strong typography and layout instincts, and an eye for clean product imagery
- Fluent in Photoshop, Illustrator or Figma, and Canva
- Hands-on with AI image tools such as Gemini, Midjourney, Higgsfield or similar
- Good written English for captions and community replies (Malayalam is a plus)
- Comfortable with scheduling tools and Meta Business Suite
- Comfortable producing at pace without losing quality
- Interest in why content performs, and a willingness to read the numbers behind your work
Nice to have
- Experience running or assisting on Meta Ads
- Basic motion or video editing skills
- Experience in baby, apparel, wellness or lifestyle categories
Why this role
You will see exactly how your work performs, week after week, on both paid and organic. Most designers never get that feedback loop. Here it will shape what you make next.
