The Business Analyst – Flex Scheduling will support and enhance workforce scheduling, time management, and HR technology solutions within the Digital & Technology function. Reporting to the D&T Manager – HR, this role is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing scheduling and HR systems to improve employee experience, enable business processes, and deliver operational value across a global workforce.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in workforce management and scheduling applications. This individual will collaborate with business stakeholders, HR teams, vendors, and technical teams to design, implement, and support technology solutions that drive process efficiency and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a functional and technical resource for global HR systems, with a primary focus on workforce scheduling and shift management solutions.
- Provide day-to-day operational support for scheduling and HR technology platforms, ensuring system stability, performance, and sustainability.
- Utilize workforce management application expertise to troubleshoot issues, resolve system defects, and optimize configurations, integrations, and processes.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, gather requirements, and recommend technology-enabled solutions.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, system configurations, and integration requirements.
- Analyze business processes, data flows, and system capabilities to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Lead and support initiatives through discovery, planning, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery and support activities.
- Develop and execute test strategies, test scripts, and quality assurance activities to ensure solution effectiveness and user acceptance.
- Create and maintain technical and process documentation related to system enhancements and operational procedures.
- Communicate system updates, enhancements, and process changes effectively to users with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Stay informed on emerging HR technology trends and workforce management capabilities, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS), Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting, implementing, or delivering complex technology solutions.
- Experience configuring, supporting, and enhancing Workforce Management, Time & Attendance, or Scheduling applications.
- Strong understanding of integrations between workforce management, scheduling, payroll, and HR systems.
- Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
- Experience supporting production environments, issue resolution, system stabilization, and ongoing operational support.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supporting workforce management, scheduling, or HR technology solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Infor Workforce Management (WFM), Indeavor, Shiftboard, Infor APS, or similar scheduling platforms.
- Experience with reporting, analytics, and workforce data analysis.
- Knowledge of HR technology ecosystems, integrations, and process automation.
- Experience supporting global HR systems and workforce operations.
