About the role
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer with 9–12 years of hands-on software engineering experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React.js or Angular, REST APIs, and relational databases, along with experience building distributed systems.
This role involves technical ownership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and delivering reliable, scalable software solutions in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Develop and optimize relational databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Design and implement distributed systems following microservices architecture principles.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineering teams to deliver business-critical features.
• Own the complete software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and promote engineering best practices.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance optimization solutions.
• Ensure code quality through automated testing, CI/CD practices, and Agile methodologies.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call support rotations.
• Leverage approved AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.
Required Skills / Must-Have Qualifications
Experience: 9–12 years of hands-on software development experience.
Technical Skills:
• Backend: Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA).
• Frontend: React.js, Angular, or Vue.js, with strong JavaScript knowledge.
• Architecture: Microservices, RESTful APIs, Distributed Systems.
• Database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, Database Design, Query Optimization.
• Computer Science Fundamentals: Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Software Engineering: Design Patterns, Code Reviews, Automated Testing, and Agile Development.
• Problem-Solving: Strong debugging, analytical, and troubleshooting capabilities.
Additional Requirements:
• Experience designing and developing enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong understanding of loosely coupled microservices architecture.
• Ability to independently own technical deliverables.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring developers and supporting engineering teams.
Preferred Skills / Good to Have
• Cloud Platforms: AWS.
• DevOps & Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Messaging & Streaming: Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, SNS/SQS.
• Domain Experience: Advertising Technology (AdTech), Programmatic Advertising, or Real-Time Bidding (RTB).
• Experience with system observability, monitoring, and alerting.
• Exposure to AI-assisted software development tools.
Educational Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Equivalent relevant professional experience will also be considered.
