Role : Part-time, Weekend, Paid Internships (On-site)
For : B.Tech / M.Tech, BSc. / MSc. college students (2nd & 3rd year)
We are introducing a one of a kind part-time, paid, weekend-only internship (onsite) for college going students who cannot opt for a full-time internship due to ongoing college classes during the weekdays.
Internship Duration : 2-4 months (Weekends only : Sat/Sun)
Location : Bangalore (GiftdMinds R&D Labs, HSR Sec-1)
Who is it for?
College students in their 2nd and 3rd year who are really good in any one of more of the below mentioned hands-on skills :
- RC Aeromodeling and Drones
- Astronomy & Stargazing
- 3D Design (Fusion 360), 3D Printing, Carbon Fiber Composites, Woodworking and other manufacturing techniques
- Hands-on Chemistry and Physics (STEM) - especially for BSc. & MSc. students
- Amateur HAM Radio and Satellite Communication (CanSat/CubeSat)
- Videography, Video Editing, Content Creation
Depending on the available time, the internship roles and responsibilities shall be divided into 2 parts. 50% Product R&D and 50% EdTech

As a Hands-on R&D Engineer (50%):
This is what we are building at GiftdMinds currently. The selected candidate will be working on one of these based on his/her skill-set level, hands-on experience and knowledge depth.
1. In house 3D Printer with 3D Laser cutting swappable rig
2. 12 inch, collapsible, Dobsonian Telescope with automated star tracker
3. RC Plane with FPV + Head tracking camera control
4. Autonomous Unmanned Underwater Vehicle UUV / ROV (Submarine) and Swarm Drones
5. A Disney BDX droid like bipedal Robot
6. A solid motor amateur (COTS and SRAD), sounding Rocket with target apogee of 10Kms
7. A Radio and Satellite communication Ground station for HAM Radio, geo-stationary, FM satellites, International Space Station (ISS) and Radio Astronomy
As an Engineering / STEM Educator & Mentor (50%):
Impact - Make In India, Viksit Bharat Mission, Future Innovators
All GiftdMinds, Interns dedicate 50% of their time and effort mentoring some of the brightest minds - GiftdMinds students (10-15yrs) with hands-on advanced R&D research and practical skill development in the field of Space-Tech, UAVs, Mechatronics, Robotics, EVs and beyond.
You shall be responsible for up-skilling and mentoring GiftdMinds students with hands-on skills related to your field of expertise.
