Company Description Galgotias Entrepreneurship Cell (GEC) is a student-driven initiative focused on fostering entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and startup culture within the Galgotias community in Noida. The Cell connects aspiring founders with mentorship, resources, and peer networks to help them turn ideas into viable ventures. GEC organizes workshops, speaker sessions, competitions, and networking events to build practical skills and exposure to the startup ecosystem. The environment is collaborative, growth-oriented, and suited for individuals who want to lead, experiment, and create impact through entrepreneurship.
Role Description The Owner of Galgotias Entrepreneurship Cell (GEC) is responsible for providing overall strategic direction, governance, and operational oversight for the Cell. This full-time, on-site role in Noida involves defining the vision and goals of GEC, ensuring alignment with institutional objectives, and nurturing a strong culture of innovation and ethical leadership. Day-to-day tasks include supervising core teams, reviewing and approving key initiatives, overseeing budgets and resource allocation, and maintaining relationships with university leadership, mentors, and external partners. The Owner will guide event planning and program design, monitor performance and impact metrics, and ensure that activities comply with institutional policies and relevant regulations. The role also includes representing GEC in internal and external forums, resolving escalated issues, and supporting sustainable growth of the Cell’s projects and ventures.

- Candidates should possess strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to guide diverse student and professional teams.
- Candidates should possess strategic planning, organizational, and project management skills to oversee multiple programs and initiatives effectively.
- Candidates should possess communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to work with students, faculty, mentors, and external partners.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of entrepreneurship, startup ecosystems, and basic business principles such as finance, marketing, and operations.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving, analytical thinking, and conflict-resolution skills to address challenges and maintain a positive environment.
- Relevant experience in leading student organizations, startups, or entrepreneurial initiatives is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in business, management, engineering, or a related field is preferred; strong aptitude and demonstrable experience may substitute formal specialization.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida full time, maintain professional conduct, and uphold inclusive, non-discriminatory practices in all activities.
