About the Role
We're looking for a driven, people-first individual to join our recruitment team as a Recruitment cum Counsellor Intern. This role sits at the intersection of foreign recruitment and student counselling — you'll be talking to candidates every day, understanding their career and study goals, and guiding them through the right opportunities abroad. If you enjoy conversations, have an eye for spotting the right fit, and want hands-on exposure to the international recruitment space, this internship is built for you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Counsel students and candidates on foreign recruitment opportunities, helping them understand eligibility, process, and next steps
- Conduct candidate interviews to assess suitability, communication skills, and readiness for overseas roles
- Shortlist candidates based on client and role requirements
- Maintain clear, accurate records of candidate interactions, feedback, and application status
- Coordinate with the internal recruitment team to keep candidates informed at every stage
- Build trust and rapport with candidates — many of them are making a big life decision, and how we communicate matters
- Support day-to-day recruitment operations and documentation as needed
What We're Looking For
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English and Hindi/Gujarati preferred)
- A genuine interest in recruitment, counselling, or HR
- Comfortable speaking with people over calls, WhatsApp, and in-person meetings
- Basic proficiency with MS Office / Google Workspace
- Freshers and students in their final year are welcome to apply
- Prior experience in counselling, tele-calling, or customer interaction is a plus, but not mandatory — we're happy to train the right attitude
