Job details:
Company Description Bodhe Institute of Entrepreneurship (BIE) is a specialized institution focused on preparing individuals to create, lead, and build businesses rather than simply compete in existing markets. The institute combines academic rigor with experiential learning, real-world business challenges, and direct access to founders, entrepreneurs, CXOs, investors, and industry leaders. Located in Mumbai, India’s business and financial capital, BIE immerses students in a vibrant ecosystem of entrepreneurs, corporations, and innovators. Its programs are designed to help learners spot opportunities, understand customers, make sound business decisions, build teams, and navigate uncertainty. BIE emphasizes entrepreneurship as a core learning mindset, aiming to develop individuals who can turn ideas into action.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential colleges and universities suitable for BIE’s Bachelor’s and MBA programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with college management, trustees, principals, directors, deans, and senior academic/administrative decision-makers.
- Generate new institutional collaboration opportunities through direct outreach, networking, references, events, and industry connections.
- Conduct meetings and presentations with institutions to explain BIE’s programs, academic model, value proposition, and collaboration opportunities.
- Lead the end-to-end collaboration process, from prospect identification and initial discussion to negotiation and closure.
- Coordinate with internal BIE teams such as Academic, Admissions, Marketing, and Management to ensure smooth onboarding of new partner institutions.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, commercial discussions, and collaboration documentation as required.
- Maintain a structured pipeline of prospective colleges, follow-ups, meetings, discussions, and closures.
- Explore opportunities across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune, and other cities, depending on BIE's expansion plans.
- Develop long-term institutional relationships and identify opportunities to expand existing collaborations.
- Track partnership targets, conversion rates, and monthly/quarterly business development performance.
- Represent BIE at education conferences, networking events, institutional meetings, and other relevant forums.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Public Relations skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences and build trust-based relationships.
- Proven Project Management capabilities, including planning, coordinating, and executing outreach initiatives and events.
- Experience in Sales and Community Outreach, ideally in education, nonprofits, or ecosystem-building roles.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners, including educational institutions and industry organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; a background in education or entrepreneurship is an advantage.
- Comfort working on-site in Thane, with flexibility to travel within Mumbai and nearby areas for events and meetings.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Familiarity with digital tools for outreach and event promotion; experience with CRM or stakeholder management systems is a plus.
