We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our CMT (Carrier Monitoring Team) operations. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent decision-making abilities, and a proven track record of managing teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the CMT Process team to achieve daily operational targets.
- Monitor team productivity, quality, and overall performance while ensuring adherence to company SOPs.
- Handle escalations and resolve operational challenges efficiently.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and team meetings.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining high service quality standards.
- Analyze operational reports and identify areas for process improvement.
- Coordinate with internal departments to streamline workflows and resolve cross-functional issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation and operational records.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and performance-driven team culture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, BPO, or a similar industry.
- Prior experience managing teams and driving operational performance.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Willingness to work the night shift (5:30 PM – 2:30 AM).
Qualifications:
- Experience in freight brokerage, carrier management, or US logistics operations.
- Knowledge of KPIs, SOP implementation, process optimization, and team performance management.
- Experience handling client and carrier escalations.
