Role Description The Operations Manager role at Ocean Finvest is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operational activities, including process management, workflow optimization, and coordination between advisory, research, and client service teams to ensure smooth delivery of financial solutions. Responsibilities include monitoring operational performance, implementing standard operating procedures, managing documentation and compliance processes, and supporting the integration of tools such as the inXits app into daily operations. The role involves collaborating with leadership to improve efficiency, maintaining high-quality service standards, and ensuring that client interactions and transactions are handled accurately and on time. The Operations Manager will also contribute to internal reporting, resource planning, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the firm’s ethical and client-focused culture.
Qualifications
- Strong operations management skills, including process design, workflow optimization, and performance monitoring.
- Experience in financial services operations, with familiarity in products such as mutual funds, equities, fixed income, PMS, AIFs, and insurance.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to SEBI-registered advisory firms and related documentation standards.
- Proficiency in using productivity tools, data management systems, and basic analytics to support operational decision-making.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working with advisory, research, client service, and leadership teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and quality assurance.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Management, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Previous experience in an operations or administrative leadership role within a financial or investment advisory environment is preferred.
