- Handle day-to-day branch banking and teller operations .
- Process NEFT and RTGS transactions accurately within prescribed TAT.
- Handle cash and non-cash transactions , including deposits, withdrawals and fund transfers.
- Manage Current Account and Savings Account (CASA) opening and servicing requests.
- Perform KYC verification and KYC updation as per bank guidelines.
- Accept and process customer instructions, account servicing requests and transaction-related queries.
- Handle DD/MC, cheque and other branch banking transactions .
- Perform cash balancing and support daily reconciliation
- Identify counterfeit currency and follow prescribed cash-handling procedures.
- Provide effective customer service and resolve customer queries within defined TAT.
- Educate customers about digital banking, payment channels and other banking services.
- Maintain proper records, registers and transaction documentation.
- Support branch audit, compliance and operational risk requirements.
- Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, KYC/AML requirements and internal bank policies .
- Coordinate with relevant internal teams for timely resolution of operational issues.
Support branch business by identifying opportunities for
CASA, FD/RD, insurance, mutual funds, credit cards and other banking products .
