Role Description: This full-time Occupational Therapist role is an on-site position based in Bareilly. The Occupational Therapist will assess individuals’ developmental, sensory, motor, and functional abilities, and design goal-oriented intervention plans to improve daily living and participation. Responsibilities include delivering individualized therapy sessions, creating home-based programs, and providing guidance to parents and caregivers to support carryover of skills in natural environments. The role involves collaborating with speech therapists, psychologists, special educators, and behavior therapists to ensure coordinated, holistic care. The Occupational Therapist will also maintain accurate documentation, track progress, and participate in case discussions and professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in pediatric and developmental occupational therapy, including assessment, goal setting, and individualized intervention planning.
- Proficiency in sensory integration, fine and gross motor skill development, activities of daily living training, and school readiness or functional skills training.
- Ability to provide effective parent and caregiver education, including clear communication, counseling, and collaborative goal setting.
- Skills in interdisciplinary teamwork, working closely with speech therapists, psychologists, special educators, and behavior therapists for coordinated care.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution; valid professional registration or license as applicable.
- Experience in early intervention, pediatrics, or neurodevelopmental rehabilitation is highly beneficial.
- Strong documentation, time management, and organizational skills, with comfort using basic digital tools for records and communication.
- Empathy, patience, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to ethical, client-centered practice.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development, and openness to evidence-based, innovative therapeutic approaches.
