Role Description
We are looking for a Nutritionist / Senior Dietitian to join the FactsScan team full-time and contribute to the development and quality of our nutrition-focused products and content.
The role will involve reviewing and validating nutrition-related information, analyzing packaged food products and ingredient lists, evaluating nutrition scores and recommendations, and helping ensure that the information presented to users is scientifically sound, clear, and practical.
You will work closely with our product, technology, and content teams to translate nutrition science into consumer-friendly digital experiences. Responsibilities may include reviewing nutrition algorithms and personalization logic, supporting the development of nutrition and health features, validating product recommendations, contributing to evidence-based content, and conducting quality checks across nutrition-related outputs.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for someone who is interested in working at the intersection of nutrition, food science, research, and health technology.
Qualifications
- MSc in Nutrition, Food Science, Dietetics, Public Health, or a related field, or a relevant Bachelor's degree or 3–4+ years of professional experience in nutrition/dietetics.
- Strong foundational knowledge of Nutrition and Dietetics, with the ability to interpret nutrition labels, ingredient lists, dietary guidelines, and scientific literature.
- Willingness to learn and work in a technology-driven, product-focused environment at the intersection of nutrition, food technology, and AI.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex nutrition concepts into clear, practical information for non-specialist audiences.
- Ability to critically evaluate nutrition claims, product information, and evidence-based recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured nutrition data, product information, and quality-review processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product, technology, content, and research teams.
- Interest in consumer health, digital health, food transparency, AI-powered nutrition, or health-tech products is an advantage.
- Willingness to work full-time and on-site in Ahmedabad.
