Job details:
Company Description Muegale is an AI-powered healthcare innovator focused on revolutionizing migraine care, one of the most prevalent illnesses in India and worldwide. The team is building intelligent medical devices that predict and prevent health crises before they occur, reducing reliance on medication-based treatments. Its flagship product, Meugero 1, combines artificial intelligence, neurostimulation, and predictive healthcare to deliver significant pain reduction for people living with migraines. As a pioneer of the world’s first closed-loop migraine system, Muegale uses AI-driven biosignal analysis and advanced neurostimulation to optimize treatment, aiming for global impact across more than a billion affected individuals. The company is driven by a mission to transform healthcare through innovation and create solutions that meaningfully improve lives.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore for neuromodulation experts who will contribute to the development and optimization of Muegale’s neurostimulation technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and refining neuromodulation protocols, analyzing biosignal and patient response data, and collaborating with AI and hardware teams to improve closed-loop systems. The role involves working closely with clinicians and researchers to translate clinical and scientific insights into device algorithms, treatment parameters, and safety standards. Neuromodulation experts will also support clinical studies, documentation, and regulatory compliance activities, and contribute to continuous improvement of product performance and patient outcomes. Team members are expected to participate in cross-functional meetings, share findings clearly, and help shape the roadmap for next-generation migraine and neurostimulation solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in neuromodulation or neurostimulation, with experience in designing or evaluating stimulation protocols and understanding neural circuitry and pain pathways.
- Background in neuroscience, biomedical engineering, neurophysiology, or related field; advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) is preferred but not mandatory with equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience working with medical devices or biosignal acquisition systems (e.g., EEG, EMG, other neurophysiological signals) and interpreting related data.
- Familiarity with AI- or algorithm-driven healthcare solutions, including basic understanding of signal processing, data analysis, or machine learning concepts in a clinical or research context.
- Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams with clinicians, engineers, data scientists, and product teams in a laboratory, R&D, or clinical environment.
- Knowledge of clinical trial processes, documentation standards, and safety and regulatory considerations for medical devices is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate scientific findings into practical design and treatment improvements.
