About the Role
Position: Network & IT Support Associate
Type: Full-time
Work Mode: On-Site
Location: Noida Sector 16
Compensation: 3-5 LPA
We are looking for a motivated Network & IT Support Associate with a good
understanding of computer networks and an interest in gaining hands-on
experience with network infrastructure, troubleshooting, security and system
administration. The selected candidate will assist the technical team in maintaining, monitoring
and improving the organisation’s network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in configuring and maintaining routers, switches, access points and network devices.
- Monitor network performance, availability and connectivity.
- Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP and internet-related issues.
- Assist with IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, routing and switching.
- Support firewall configuration, access-control rules and network security.
- Assist in configuring and troubleshooting VPN connections.
- Analyse network traffic and logs to identify connectivity or security issues.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot operating systems, business applications and endpoint security tools.
- Support basic Linux and Windows networking tasks.
- Manage end-to-end device lifecycle for onboarding and offboarding -arrange, assign, configure, collect, and perform security checks (data wipe/reset, credential revocation) on IT devices as employees join or exit.
- Maintain network diagrams, device inventories and technical documentation.
- Assist with cloud-networking and server-connectivity tasks.
- Follow company security policies and report network incidents or vulnerabilities.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Knowledge of the OSI and TCP/IP models.
- Understanding of IPv4 addressing, subnetting and CIDR.
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLAN, WLAN and VPN concepts.
- Basic understanding of IT asset management, device provisioning and endpoint security.
- Understanding of DNS, DHCP, NAT, TCP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS and common network protocols.
- Basic knowledge of routing, switching and firewall concepts.
- Familiarity with routers, switches and wireless access points.
- Basic knowledge of Linux or Windows networking.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting tools such as Ping, Traceroute, NSLookup, Wireshark or TCPDump. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Cisco Packet Tracer, GNS3 or EVE-NG.
- Familiarity with MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune, Mosyle or Jamf.
- Experience configuring Windows or macOS devices in academic, personal or lab environments
- Basic knowledge of AWS, Azure or other cloud networks.
- Understanding of network monitoring and security tools.
- Knowledge of scripting or network automation.
- CCNA training or certification is an advantage
- Personal, academic or home-lab networking projects will be preferred.
Eligibility
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Computer Science,
- Information Technology, Networking, Cybersecurity, Electronics or a related field.
- Final-year students and recent graduates may apply.
- Candidates should have a strong willingness to learn and work on practical networking tasks.
