As a Backend Developer, you will own the development and scaling of our backend platforms and micro-services. You will collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and architects to deliver robust, high-performing, and delightful experiences to our users. This role requires deep ownership, strong technical judgment, and a passion for building world-class consumer-facing server systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in backend/system development.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring JPA.
- Solid understanding of micro-service architecture and its design patterns.
- Understanding of containterization and orchestration tools like Docker, AWS ECS etc.
- Deep experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL RDBMS design, performance tuning, SQL).
- Practical experience with Redis for caching and data structure handling.
- Expertise in designing and integrating RESTful APIs in scalable systems.
- Solid understanding of version control Git and code quality practices.
- Familiarity with AWS ( EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, etc.).
- Experience with asynchronous/event-driven architectures Kafka/RabbitMQ/SQS.
- Good debugging skills and a disciplined approach to testing and system monitoring.
- Must have an AI first approach. If you are not using Claude Code (or something similar) day-in and day-out, this is not the job for you.
