We are seeking an experienced Murex Front Developer / Consultant with strong expertise in the Murex MX.3.1 platform, particularly across Front Office and Risk modules.
Responsibilities
- Handling Murex production batch processing includes Date rolls for Various desks and entities, accounting and reporting batches.
- Configuring the processing script for various modules and debugging the issues related to it.
- Performing or monitoring daily/monthly housekeeping jobs related to Accounting, Market data, etc.
- Providing support for overnight batch processing.
- Developing or configuring the processing script, report, or batch of feeders if required as part of Batch Support.
- Configuration management & Release management.
Must have Skills
- 3-8 years of experience in Murex system in the Front office and risk modules of the Mx 3.1 platform
- Proven experience working on scalable, resilient transaction processing systems in the Financial markets
- A strong analytical and logical approach to problem-solving and system development.
- Very strong exposure to all asset classes
- Strong exposure to trade lifecycle across front office, back office, and middle office tiers
- Detailed knowledge of Murex Front office and risk modules
- Responsible for doing Requirement Analysis in Front Office space for various asset classes
- Responsible for doing an initial analysis of existing production data and existing test case suite
- Ability to analyze and understand product requirements and offer solutions and support to facilitate the rollouts
- Work closely with the Front Office business to design and build pricing and booking capabilities in the Murex system
- Participate with internal business partners on cross-functional projects to provide STP solutions for pricing, distribution, and execution capabilities
- Be responsible for understanding the business needs, identifying business solutions, and validating the pros and cons of technical solution options
