Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Techno-Functional Consultant

About the Role
We are looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Techno-Functional Consultant to bridge business requirements with technical implementation across D365 modules (CE/CRM, F&O, or Business Central). The ideal candidate will handle both functional configuration and technical customization, while staying current with AI-driven capabilities within the Dynamics ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional and technical specifications
- Configure and customize Dynamics 365 modules (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, F&O, or Business Central)
- Develop and customize plugins, workflows, Power Automate flows, and JavaScript/C# extensions
- Design and implement integrations using Dataverse, Web APIs, and Azure services
- Build and configure AI-driven agents and Copilot extensions within Dynamics 365
- Work with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) for end-to-end solutioning
- Conduct UAT, troubleshoot production issues, and provide post-go-live support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, BAs, QA) and manage client/stakeholder communication
- Prepare technical documentation, solution design documents, and deployment guides
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CE/CRM, F&O, or Business Central
- Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Experience with Dataverse, plugins, C#, JavaScript, and Web API integrations
- Understanding of Azure services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions) for integrations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot Studio and agent building within D365
AI Tools Candidate Should Know
- Microsoft Copilot Studio — building and customizing AI agents within Dynamics 365/Power Platform
- Dynamics 365 Copilot — AI-driven insights, email drafting, and CRM data summaries
- AI Builder (Power Platform) — adding prediction and form-processing AI models into apps/flows
- Copilot in Power Automate — AI-assisted flow creation and self-healing automation
- MCP Server (Model Context Protocol) — connecting Copilot agents across D365, SharePoint, Business Central
- Copilot in Power Apps — generating apps/pages using natural language prompts
Good to Have
- Microsoft certifications (PL-200, MB-2xx series)
- Prior experience in an implementation partner/consulting environment
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodology
