Alexa Kitchen is looking for a creative and responsible Modular Kitchen Designer who can understand client requirements, take accurate site measurements and prepare practical, attractive kitchen designs.
The designer will coordinate with clients, the sales team, site supervisor and production team—from initial consultation to final installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand clients’ requirements, lifestyle, budget and design preferences.
- Visit client sites and take accurate measurements.
- Prepare professional *2D layouts and 3D kitchen designs*.
- Create designs using *KD Max and AutoCAD*.
- Plan cabinets, storage, appliances, worktop, sink, chimney, hob and electrical points.
- Suggest suitable colours, finishes, materials, hardware and accessories.
- Prepare client presentations and explain designs professionally.
- Revise designs according to client feedback.
- Prepare production-ready drawings with accurate dimensions.
- Prepare or support BOQ, material details and quotations.
- Coordinate with the sales team, site supervisor, carpenter and production team.
- Ensure the approved design is practically executable at the site.
- Check site conditions before production begins.
- Maintain complete client-design records and follow project timelines.
- Support the team during installation and resolve design-related issues.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in modular-kitchen or interior designing.
- Good working knowledge of KD Max and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of modular-kitchen measurements and cabinet planning.
- Understanding of plywood, HDHMR, laminates, acrylic, hardware and kitchen accessories.
- Knowledge of appliances such as chimney, hob, refrigerator, microwave, oven and dishwasher.
- Ability to prepare accurate 2D drawings and realistic 3D presentations.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to work responsibly with the sales and execution teams.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quotation preparation will be preferred.
- Punjabi and Hindi communication skills are required; basic English is preferred.

- Patiala-based candidate, preferably living within a *10 km radius*, will be preferred.
