Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mining Engineer role based in Abu Road. The Mining Engineer will be responsible for planning and supervising coal mining operations, including mine design, production scheduling, and optimization of extraction processes. Daily tasks include conducting geological and geotechnical assessments, preparing technical reports, monitoring safety and environmental compliance, and coordinating with site supervisors and project managers. The role also involves analyzing operational data to improve efficiency, supporting cost estimates and feasibility studies, and ensuring that mining activities align with project timelines and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Mine Planning skills, including designing mine layouts, production plans, and long-term extraction strategies.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret geological data, evaluate operational performance, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Mining Engineering principles, including drilling, blasting, ventilation, and mine safety practices.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Coal and Coal Mining operations, including open-cast or underground methods and relevant regulations.
- Relevant bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Working knowledge of mining software and CAD tools, and familiarity with safety and environmental standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary site and project teams.
- Prior experience in infrastructure or large-scale industrial projects will be an advantage.
