Parikh Metacast Private Limited is an ISO 9001:2015 certified steel foundry based in Kolhapur, specializing in high-quality steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, heat-resistant, and SG iron castings since 1998. The company has a monthly manufacturing capacity of around 450 MT, serving core sector industries such as automobile, crusher and mining equipment, gearbox manufacturing, pumps and valves, material handling, cement, steel, and other major industrial segments. Parikh Metacast produces single-piece castings ranging from 400 kg to 7000 kg, conforming to Indian and international standards. Its manufacturing facilities are approved by the IRS for steel and alloy steel castings used in shipbuilding, reflecting a strong commitment to quality and reliability.
📍 Location: Kagal Five Star MIDC, Kolhapur, Maharashtra
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop casting methods, including gating, risers, feeders, and chills.
• Prepare method layouts to achieve defect-free castings and optimise metal yield.
• Create and modify 3D models using SolidWorks and Fusion 360.
• Perform casting simulations using AutoCAST for shrinkage prediction, porosity analysis, and solidification behaviour.
• Support new product development from enquiry to production.
• Analyse casting defects and implement corrective actions for process improvement.
• Prepare method drawings, process flow charts, SOPs, and standard documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Pattern Shop, and Maintenance teams during trials and production.
Requirements
• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Metallurgy, or Production Engineering.
• 4–8 years of experience in a heavy steel foundry.
• Hands-on experience with:
- SolidWorks (Mandatory)
- AutoCAST (Mandatory)
- Fusion 360 (Mandatory)
- Strong understanding of steel casting metallurgy, solidification principles, and defect analysis.
