Role Description The Merchandiser role at Naukripay Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Merchandiser will be responsible for planning and organizing product assortments, ensuring optimal stock levels, and maintaining attractive visual displays in retail spaces. Daily tasks include coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, tracking sales performance, analyzing customer preferences, and recommending pricing and promotional strategies. The role also involves monitoring market trends, supporting in-store marketing initiatives, and ensuring that merchandise aligns with brand standards and customer expectations. The Merchandiser will collaborate closely with sales and store operations teams to drive product visibility and maximize revenue.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and retail partners, and present merchandising plans clearly.
- Customer Service and Retail experience to understand shopper behavior, support store operations, and ensure a positive in-store experience.
- Sales and Marketing skills to plan promotions, analyze sales data, and contribute to strategies that increase product visibility and revenue.
- Attention to detail and visual merchandising abilities to create appealing product displays and maintain consistent brand standards.
- Basic analytical and reporting skills to interpret sales figures, inventory data, and market trends for merchandising decisions.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Prior experience in merchandising, retail, or FMCG environments is preferred; a diploma or degree in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
