About the Role
We’re looking for a Mentor Circle Program Champion to help build and manage our student-volunteer hosting program for HSI’s quarterly Mentor Circle events.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with students, coordinating events, managing people, and making things happen.
Duration: 6 Months | Renewable
Training: 3 Months Training
Stipend: ₹12,000/month for the next 3 months
What You’ll Do
- Partner with college Training & Placement (T&P) cells and coordinate student volunteer programs
- Recruit, onboard, and train student volunteers
- Manage volunteer roles and responsibilities throughout the program
- Coordinate live event operations including breakout rooms, timekeeping and feedback
- Maintain event runbooks, documentation and volunteer records
- Conduct handover briefings between student cohorts
- Track student participation and support certificate issuance
- Share post-event outcomes with the core team
- Prepare a complete handover document before the internship ends
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in event coordination, volunteering or people management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good documentation and organizational skills
- Comfortable interacting with and coordinating college students
- Basic knowledge of Zoom/video-conferencing tools
- Basic social media skills
- Responsible, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership
What Success Looks Like
By the end of 6 months, you should be able to build and manage a trained student cohort that can host Mentor Circle events with minimal core-team support, maintain an updated event runbook, and successfully hand over the process to your successor.
