Role Description The Medical Doctor will provide evidence-based clinical care, including taking patient histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing appropriate treatment plans. Responsibilities include managing inpatient and outpatient cases, performing or assisting in procedures as per specialty, prescribing medications, and monitoring patient progress. The doctor will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in clinical discussions, and ensure adherence to hospital protocols, safety standards, and ethical practices. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records, counseling patients and families, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, and staying current with medical advancements. This is a full-time, on-site position based at Bhrungi Hospitals in Hayathnagar.
Qualifications
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) from an accredited institution.
- Valid medical license/registration with the appropriate medical council and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills, with the ability to manage both acute and chronic conditions.
- Proficiency in maintaining clear, accurate medical documentation and using hospital information systems or electronic medical records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, infection control, and adherence to clinical guidelines and hospital policies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Willingness to participate in continuous medical education, case reviews, and quality improvement activities.
- Experience in a multispeciality hospital setting in Hyderabad or similar urban environment is an advantage.
- Comfort working with diverse patient populations and demonstrating empathy, cultural sensitivity, and respect in all interactions.
