Role Description The ME Project Engineer will work on-site at our Nasik facility in a full-time capacity, overseeing mechanical and related engineering aspects of aluminum die casting projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating project requirements, preparing and reviewing technical drawings and specifications, and supporting process selection (HPDC, LPDC, GDC) in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role involves planning and tracking project timelines, monitoring production and quality parameters, and resolving technical issues on the shop floor. The ME Project Engineer will interact with internal stakeholders and suppliers, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing and sub-assembly processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Project Engineering and Project Management for handling end-to-end technical and execution activities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Project Planning to develop schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress across multiple projects.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Candidates should possess knowledge in Electrical Engineering to understand and coordinate with relevant electrical systems used in production and assemblies.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Beneficial skills include experience in aluminum die casting, manufacturing processes, CAD/CAE tools, quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC), and basic knowledge of lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work on-site in Nasik, manage multiple projects, and adapt to a fast-paced production environment is expected.
