Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an MDS Prosthodontist based in Amritsar at one of Singh Dental Care’s clinics. The Prosthodontist will provide comprehensive prosthodontic care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of fixed and removable prostheses such as crowns, bridges, dentures, implant-supported restorations, and full-mouth rehabilitations. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, taking detailed case histories, coordinating radiographic and diagnostic investigations, and designing individualized treatment plans focused on function, aesthetics, and long-term oral health. The role involves performing clinical procedures, overseeing lab work, ensuring precise fit and occlusion, and collaborating closely with implantologists, endodontists, orthodontists, surgeons, and other specialists for interdisciplinary cases. The Prosthodontist is also expected to maintain accurate clinical records, adhere to infection control and safety protocols, contribute to patient education and counselling, and support continuous improvement in clinical standards and patient experience.
Qualifications
- Recognized MDS degree in Prosthodontics from an accredited institution, with valid registration from the appropriate Dental Council.
- Strong clinical skills in fixed and removable prosthodontics, including crowns, bridges, complete and partial dentures, and full-mouth rehabilitation.
- Experience with implant prosthodontics, including treatment planning and restoration of single and multiple implants, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in diagnostic and treatment planning tools such as study models, occlusal analysis, radiographic interpretation, and digital dentistry workflows.
- Commitment to painless treatment techniques, patient-centered care, and effective communication to reduce patient anxiety and enhance overall experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and coordinate care with other specialists for complex cases.
