Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mathematics Teacher role based in Thane. The Mathematics Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching mathematics to assigned grades, assessing student performance, and providing individualized support where needed. The role involves collaborating with colleagues on curriculum initiatives, maintaining classroom discipline, and communicating regularly with parents or guardians about student progress. The teacher will also participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development activities that support the academy’s vision and mission.
Qualifications
- Strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education.
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development tailored to diverse learning needs.
- Status as a Qualified Teacher, with relevant teaching certifications or licenses.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Proven classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to use educational technology and teaching aids to enhance instruction.
- Prior experience teaching school-level mathematics is preferred.
