Bangalore · Full-time · In office, Monday to Friday · Reports to the CEO · 4+ years
ExCo is the company behind Bucketlist and BHX Project.
Bucketlist runs premium group adventures across 18+ countries. BHX is India's first creative residency — founders, creators and builders making things that didn't exist before, across 120+ editions in 10+ countries. We sell to a community five thousand people deep.
The role
You run the day-to-day of marketing across both brands. You are the person who makes sure the right work gets briefed, made and shipped — on time and on-brand, every week.
You sit in the middle of a small, senior creative team: a creative director, a social media strategist, an editor and designers. Your job is to keep them moving in the same direction — turn a plan into clear briefs, protect the quality bar, unblock people and own the calendar. You are hands-on, not a manager of managers. When something is off-brand you can say exactly why, in one sentence, and get it fixed.
This is not the seat that owns paid media strategy or the acquisition number — a performance marketer owns that. This seat owns output: that two brands post every day, that the work is good, and that nothing sits stuck waiting on you.
What you will own
- The content calendar for both brands — what ships, when, and that it actually ships.
- Briefs. You give the creative team enough that the first draft comes back close to final.
- The quality bar. You are the gate between the work and the feed — specific notes, not vibes.
- Coordination across the creative director, social media strategist, editor and designers — keeping the bench unblocked and load-balanced.
- Email and WhatsApp. The automation is built; you run the calendar on top of it.
What we are looking for
- 4+ years in marketing, content or creative operations, with real ownership of things shipping — not just one channel.
- Taste you can defend. You look at three cuts and can say which is off-brand, and why, in one line.
- A systems brain that does not kill ideas. You are comfortable in a tracker of what is in flight and in a feed of what feels alive — most people are one or the other.
- You brief well. You have handed a designer or editor a brief that made the first draft come back nearly right — the skill that multiplies a team instead of becoming its bottleneck.
- You keep things moving. You are the person a founder messages at 11pm because you make things happen, not the one who sends a status update.
- You use AI daily to clear the mundane, and you know where it falls short.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in marketing strategy, campaign planning, and brand management.
- Experience with digital marketing, including social media, content marketing, and basic analytics tools.
- Ability to collaborate with creative teams on storytelling, visual assets, and event promotion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and clarity.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in experiential marketing, events, or culture-focused initiatives in India or Southeast Asia is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort working on-site in Bengaluru and engaging with diverse, global communities in an inclusive and respectful manner.
