Role Description The Marketing and Public Relations Manager is a full-time role with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work-from-home flexibility. This position is responsible for planning and executing marketing and PR campaigns that strengthen the Hide-In India brand and attract both domestic and international travelers. Day-to-day tasks include drafting press materials, managing media outreach, coordinating interviews and stories, and maintaining relationships with key journalists and influencers. The role also involves overseeing social media messaging, supporting digital marketing initiatives, and ensuring consistent brand voice across all communication channels. The Manager will collaborate closely with leadership and on-site teams to promote new properties, special offers, and guest experiences, and will monitor campaign performance to refine strategies over time.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Public Relations and Media Relations to build and maintain strong relationships with press and influencers.
- Candidates should possess skills in Press Releases and Strategic Communications to craft clear, compelling, and timely brand messages.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, to represent the brand effectively across channels.
- Experience in hospitality, travel, or lifestyle brands and familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup, manage multiple projects, analyze campaign performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Should be competent with meta ADS.
KRA
- Digital marketing and social media: Develop and execute an integrated content calendar for all relevant platforms, including the brand website, social channels, email and online listings. Create and approve engaging, brand-aligned content; manage campaigns, community interactions, reviews and enquiries; and maintain accurate, timely information across booking and discovery portals. Use analytics to optimise reach, engagement, website traffic, qualified leads and direct bookings.
- Brand, PR and reputation: Protect brand consistency across every guest touchpoint. Build relationships with media, influencers, tourism bodies and community partners; prepare press releases, media kits, pitches and spokesperson briefs; secure relevant coverage; and coordinate interviews, familiarisation visits and responses to reputational issues. Monitor online reviews and sentiment, escalate service concerns promptly, and collaborate with operations to ensure thoughtful, timely resolutions.
- Offline marketing and partnerships:Plan and deliver campaigns across print, outdoor, local events, corporate and travel trade partnerships, and on-property collateral. Coordinate promotional calendars, seasonal offers, launches and community activations with hotel or venue teams. Ensure materials are accurate, attractive, on-brand and within approved budgets.
- Measurement and budget: Set measurable quarterly objectives and manage the marketing and PR budget, vendors and agency relationships. Report monthly on campaign performance, media value, website and portal referrals, enquiries, conversion, occupancy or revenue contribution, and customer feedback. Recommend evidence-based improvements and maintain compliant, ethical marketing practices.
