Seaker Systems is looking for a Marine Systems Engineer to join our team and work on innovative maritime technology solutions.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission marine systems, including automation and power systems.
- Retrofit and calibrate sensors such as shaft power meters and flow meters.
- Ensure compliance with maritime standards such as DNV and ABS.
- Provide technical support and crew training.
- Work onboard vessels and support marine system commissioning and maintenance.
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering.
- Marine certifications such as STCW/SOLAS will be an added advantage.
- Experience in marine system servicing or shipboard maintenance is preferred.
🛠️ Skills
- Knowledge of marine automation and communication protocols.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in challenging environments, including engine rooms.
- Willingness to travel and work onboard ships.
