About the role
Reroot Health builds personalized nutrition and nutraceutical products. We're hiring a Manufacturing Support Assistant to keep our two production sites running day to day:
Rootworks, our formulation and manufacturing lab, where ingredient quality control and batch production happen, and the Packhouse, where packaging and finished-goods handling take place.
This is a hands-on role for a science graduate who is organized, comfortable with documentation and spreadsheets, and willing to own the operational detail; weighing, records, stock, and traceability, that a manufacturing facility depends on. You'll see a product move through its entire journey: raw material intake to formulation to QC to packed unit. For someone early in their career, that end-to-end exposure is rare.
What you'll do
Manufacturing & lab
- Support daily manufacturing and formulation activities at Rootworks; weighing, batching, material handling (as per SOPs)
- Maintain lab cleanliness, organization, equipment readiness, and safety compliance
Quality control & documentation
- Support incoming raw-material QC: sampling, COA verification, and coordinating external and internal lab testing
- Maintain batch, QC, manufacturing, and finished-product records with full traceability
- Identify and report discrepancies in materials, documentation, or output
Stock & material control
- Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials, consumables, packaging materials, and finished goods
- Track material movement between Rootworks and the Packhouse
- Monitor stock levels, flag reorder points, and run periodic physical stock checks and reconciliation
Packaging
- Support Packhouse operations; verifying correct product, packaging material, labels, and quantities
- Maintain packaging and batch records
Across the board
- Use Excel/Google Sheets and digital systems, including CRM, for inventory and operational records
- Coordinate with manufacturing, QC, and procurement to keep daily operations moving
- Take on additional responsibilities as the operation scales
What we're looking for
- B.Sc. or B.Pharm from a recognized institution. Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience; fresh graduates are welcome
- Working knowledge of basic laboratory practice and scientific documentation
- Confident with computers: Excel/Google Sheets, email, and digital record-keeping are a daily part of this role, not an occasional one
- Strong attention to detail and discipline in maintaining records
- Comfortable with hands-on work in both a lab and a packaging environment
- Ability to follow SOPs consistently
- Proactive, and willing to learn across manufacturing, QC, and operations
