We’re Hiring: Manual QA Testers
Bowzaine™ is expanding its Quality Engineering team and looking for skilled, detail-oriented and self-driven Manual QA Testers with 1–4 years of experience in Manual Software Testing to work on modern web applications, SaaS platforms, automation solutions and AI-enabled digital products.
We are looking for testers who have a strong quality mindset, can identify potential issues from an end-user perspective and take ownership of product quality throughout the development and release lifecycle.
Experience
• 1–4 years of hands-on experience in Manual Software Testing
Key Responsibilities
• Understand product requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases
• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration and End-to-End testing
• Execute test cases and document test results accurately
• Identify, reproduce, document and track software defects
• Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and potential usability issues
• Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing after changes
• Test web applications across different browsers, devices and environments
• Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve defects
• Participate in requirement discussions and identify quality risks at an early stage
• Support release validation and ensure critical functionality is tested before deployment
• Maintain clear testing documentation, defect reports and test execution results
Required Skills
• Strong understanding of Manual Software Testing concepts
• Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC and Defect Life Cycle
• Experience in Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity and End-to-End testing
• Ability to create effective test scenarios, test cases and test data
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms
• Basic knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman
• Basic SQL knowledge for database validation
• Understanding of web applications, browsers and client-server architecture
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to independently test features and take ownership of assigned tasks
Preferred Skills
• Experience testing SaaS or startup products
• Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Experience with API and database testing
• Exposure to mobile application testing
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub
• Basic knowledge of Playwright or Selenium
• Understanding of automation testing concepts
• Exposure to AI-enabled applications or AI-assisted testing tools
