Role Description The Managing Director for Canada Opportunities is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Canada. This position oversees the strategic direction and growth of Canada-focused immigration and visa consulting services, including market development, service design, and performance management. The role involves leading, mentoring, and expanding a multidisciplinary team, setting operational targets, and ensuring compliance with Canadian immigration regulations and internal quality standards. The Managing Director will cultivate partnerships, represent the company with key stakeholders, and drive initiatives to enhance client experience and success rates. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing case strategies, monitoring service delivery, optimizing processes, managing budgets, and reporting business performance to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Leadership and management skills, including experience overseeing teams and driving business growth in professional services.
- Strong knowledge of Canada immigration pathways, visa categories, and regulatory requirements, with experience in immigration or legal consulting preferred.
- Business development and stakeholder management skills to build partnerships, identify new opportunities, and expand market presence.
- Operational and process improvement capabilities, including setting performance metrics, managing budgets, and optimizing service workflows.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and build trust.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, International Relations, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within consulting, immigration services, or related domains.
- Ability to work on-site in Canada and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across locations.
