Role Description The Manager Production Planning and Control is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. The role involves leading production planning activities, preparing and monitoring production schedules, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of manufacturing orders. The manager oversees resource allocation, material availability, and workflow optimization to meet delivery commitments and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include analyzing production performance data, identifying bottlenecks, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining documentation related to planning and control processes. The role also requires close collaboration with procurement, quality, and operations to support continuous improvement and cost-effective manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Production Planning, Production Schedules, and overall Production Management.
- Candidates should possess solid Planning capabilities and Analytical Skills for forecasting, capacity planning, and performance evaluation.
- Candidates should possess experience in coordinating manufacturing operations, optimizing workflows, and managing resources in an industrial or engineering environment.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of electrical or panel manufacturing processes, relevant safety and quality standards, and basic understanding of IEC guidelines.
- Candidates should possess effective communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills to work with cross-functional teams and guide production staff.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline; prior experience in production planning and control is highly desirable.
