Job Summary
The Outreach Manager - Events & Partnerships is responsible for identifying, securing, and managing the pan-India event pipeline (malls, public places, retail stores, corporate and community events) required for field fundraising teams across all territories. The role requires maintaining a minimum ROI of 400% on all paid events, while ensuring that 30% of the total events secured nationwide every month are free/zero-cost events, so that field teams always have sufficient locations to meet their fundraising targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, negotiate, and secure event locations pan-India — malls, public places, retail stores, corporate offices, RWAs/societies, and community events — required by field fundraising teams (BDEs, TLs, AMs, TMs).
• Maintain a minimum ROI of 400% on all paid events, tracking cost of securing/running each event against the donation revenue it generates.
• Ensure a minimum of 30% of the total events secured nationwide every month are free/zero-cost events, reducing the overall cost of the event pipeline.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with mall management, corporate partners, RWAs/societies, event organisers, and local authorities across India for a consistent, reliable event pipeline.
• Coordinate with Territory Managers and Assistant Managers across all cities to understand monthly event/location requirements and plan the pan-India event calendar accordingly.
• Negotiate costs, terms, and permissions for paid events to optimise ROI and control overall event spend.
• Proactively build a pipeline of free event opportunities (CSR tie-ups, community/festival events, public spaces) to meet the 30% free-event target consistently.
• Track and report event-wise cost, footfall potential, and ROI performance to senior management on a regular basis.
• Ensure all events secured comply with local permissions, licenses, and organisational policies.
• Monitor the pan-India event calendar to prevent gaps or idle field manpower due to unavailability of events/locations.
• Adhere to organisational policies, code of conduct, and reporting timelines (TAT) at all times.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Graduate/UG in any discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred, with a background in events, partnerships, business development, or the social sector.
• 6–9 years of experience in event management, venue acquisition, corporate partnerships, or outreach roles, with pan-India exposure preferred.
• Proven track record of negotiating and securing venues/events at optimised cost, with a strong understanding of ROI and cost-benefit analysis.
• Established network with mall management companies, corporate offices, RWAs/societies, and event organisers across multiple Indian cities.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-management, and stakeholder-coordination skills.
• Excellent planning and analytical skills to manage a pan-India event calendar and report on cost/ROI performance.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India as required.
