Job Summary
Responsible for leading HR Information Systems and HR Operations strategy, service delivery, and continuous improvement to support efficient, compliant, and scalable HR processes. Manages HRIS projects, system configuration and integrations, data governance, security administration, and operational processes across the employee lifecycle. Partners with HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, external vendors, and other stakeholders to assess business needs, implement system and process enhancements, mitigate risks, and ensure high-quality execution. Leads the HR Operations team and drives audit readiness, compliance, stakeholder communication, and adoption of best practices across HR systems and operations.

40% Identifies and stays appraised of external trends and proactively provides perspective to inform HRIS strategy. Works with HR teams to evaluate technology needs and may design new or modify existing HRIS to meet changing demands. Lead cross-functional HR teams in the design, planning and execution of projects aligned with the HR strategy, including projects requiring HR systems configuration and integration with global HR systems.
Partner with internal business partners and/or external vendors to ensure that projects are executed through a high-quality process. Ensure and advocate for the use of best practices and high-quality standards around requirements gathering and management, system configuration, user acceptance testing and documentation, communication, training, and implementation and communications. Identify and advise partners of risks and downstream impacts of proposed changes and recommend a course of action for remediation as appropriate. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Provide maintenance and security administration of HR systems.
40% Manage the HR operations team and direct the day-to-day work of the team. Responsible for the seamless and complaint delivery of BAU HR employee lifecycle activities through systems, processes and other service methods. Business as usual activities include pre-hire data management, background check processes, HCM position management, data exchanges in support of payroll, employee changes and terminations. Develop, deliver and manage processes and systems capabilities that will support audit and compliance requirements identified by Total Rewards and Business HR stakeholders. Collaborate with other functions including IT, Finance, Payroll, facilities and functional areas within HR to develop and maintain consistent methodologies, governance models, standards, and best practices for administration of systems and processes. Develop and maintain relationships with internal business partners to ensure that stakeholders remain well-informed about upcoming changes and potential impacts.
20% Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects for HRIS systems as well as HR processes based on the needs of the organization. Evaluate and analyze requests involving changes to existing HR systems and HR processes to accommodate short and long-term business needs. Lead and participate in several Respond to HR staff inquiries about HRIS issues. Regardless of whether the issue is system or data driven, evaluate, analyze and develop solutions that meet the customer's needs in a manner that is appropriate, reproduceable, efficient and within HRIS and Operations standards and guidelines. Drive audits and compliance for all HRIS and operations related areas.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (List 3-5 essential KSAs)
- Knowledge of HR topics, such as labor law, employee relations, benefits, staffing, compensation, legal/compliance and wage and hour
- Good knowledge of HR systems with experience in working on multiple HRIS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels and functional areas of the organization which translates into the ability to work effectively with the business identifying, coordinating, and documenting requirements.
- Ability to lead HR wide and cross functional projects, using core project management principles and tools.
- Ability to identify and articulate downstream and upstream impact of decisions. Leverage business knowledge to inform decisions, identify impact and recommend solutions. Has a continuous improvement mindset. . Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
- Good people management capability to drive efficient delivery.
Job Specifications :

- Required education: Bachelor's degree in related field plus experience in HRIS and HR operations
- Preferred education: Master’s degree in HR, systems management or operations
- Required experience: 10+ years related HRIS experience with emphasis in HR systems management, enhancement and support, report writing, and cloud-based technology, data management and analysis, testing and problem solving.
- Preferred experience: Experience with complex project management, including stakeholder management and cross functional collaboration. Darwinbox or Workday experience as preferred
