Role : Manager – Growth & Business Development (1 position)
Experience: 6 to 8 years
The role
You will originate, structure and close complex B2B deals with large industrial and commercial customers, owning each opportunity from market identification to closure. This is a builder's role in an emerging market: you will create the pipeline, shape the commercial models and work closely with our technical, finance and legal teams to deliver.
What you will do
- Identify and originate high-value opportunities in new and nascent markets, and build a qualified pipeline of senior customer relationships.
- Own deals end to end: qualification, solution development, commercial structuring, negotiation and closure.
- Develop and negotiate commercial proposals, term sheets, long-term contracts, operating models, JVs and strategic partnerships.
- Translate technical concepts, site operations, economics, offtake structures and financing into compelling commercial propositions.
- Engage with business leaders, CXOs, promoters and government officials through long sales cycles.
- Track how policy and regulatory developments affect customer economics, and turn them into commercial opportunities.
- Coordinate internal technical, finance and legal teams to move deals forward.
What we are looking for
- 6 to 8 years of experience in B2B enterprise sales or business development, with a proven record of originating, developing and closing complex, multi-crore deals with large industrial and commercial customers.
- Strong techno-commercial ability and comfort discussing technical details, economics, offtake structures and financing with relevant stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience in deal structuring and negotiation across proposals, term sheets, long-term contracts, JVs and other structured arrangements.
- Demonstrated ability to build a pipeline in an emerging or nascent market.
- Understanding of how regulation shapes customer economics.
- An entrepreneurial, high-ownership mindset: proactive, resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity and quick to learn.
Good to have
- Engineering degree, ideally complemented by an MBA or equivalent commercial experience.
- Experience in energy, infrastructure, climate or decarbonization, or other complex B2B sectors.
- Experience in a high-growth or entrepreneurial environment, particularly building nascent markets.
What We Offer
Join a small, ambitious, and international team and enjoy the following benefits:
- Competitive salary, stock options, and comprehensive benefits.
- Attractive performance-based incentives in addition to fixed compensation.
- Opportunity to collaborate directly with senior leadership on cutting-edge climate technology projects.
- A key role in shaping the future of a fast-growing climate tech company.
- High ownership with the freedom to lead technology development initiatives from concept to commercialization.
- Continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
- A collaborative, innovative, and entrepreneurial work environment.
