Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Makeup Faculty role based in Gurugram. The Makeup Faculty is responsible for delivering high-quality, structured training in professional makeup techniques in line with Orane’s curriculum and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lessons, conducting theory and practical sessions, demonstrating makeup applications, and supervising learners during hands-on practice. The role involves mentoring and assessing learners, maintaining training records, ensuring classroom and lab readiness, and supporting examinations and evaluations. The Makeup Faculty also collaborates with colleagues to update course content, participates in workshops and events, and promotes a positive, inclusive learning environment that aligns with Orane’s values.
Qualifications
- Strong technical expertise in professional makeup, including bridal, fashion, editorial, and everyday makeup techniques.
- Experience in teaching, training, or coaching in makeup or beauty, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and demonstrate step-by-step applications.
- Knowledge of skin types, color theory, product selection, hygiene and sanitation standards, and current beauty trends.
- Effective classroom management skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and provide constructive feedback.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a learner-centric and inclusive approach.
- Relevant certification or diploma in makeup artistry or beauty/esthetician programs from a recognized institution.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram on a full-time schedule and collaborate with a multidisciplinary training team.
- Experience in the beauty and wellness industry, including salon, studio, or freelance work, is highly beneficial.
