Role Description The Maintenance Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ernakulam. The Maintenance Technician will perform routine and corrective maintenance on production equipment and machinery to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations. Daily tasks include inspecting equipment, identifying and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and carrying out repairs in accordance with safety and quality standards. The role also involves documenting maintenance activities, coordinating with production teams to minimize downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the facility.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance for manufacturing environments.
- Ability to perform Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair on mechanical and electrical systems.
<liexperience in planning and executing preventive maintenance activities to reduce equipment failures.< li>
- Basic knowledge of safety standards, tools, and practices used in industrial maintenance.
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance disciplines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and equipment documentation.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.
- Willingness to work on-site in Ernakulam and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
