Mainframe Tester / Mainframe Test Engineer
- Extensive experience in Mainframe Testing across various application development and maintenance projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with COBOL for analyzing, validating, and testing business logic.
- Proficient in JCL (Job Control Language) for batch job execution, scheduling, debugging, and validation.
- Experience working with CICS for online transaction processing and testing of interactive mainframe applications.
- Knowledge of IBM MQ (MQ Series) for message-based integration and end-to-end testing.
- Hands-on experience with Db2 for z/OS, including SQL query validation, data verification, and backend testing.
- Skilled in test case design, execution, defect tracking, regression testing, integration testing, and production support activities.
- Ability to analyze requirements, validate data flows, and ensure application quality in complex mainframe environments.
Core Skills: Mainframe Testing, COBOL, JCL, CICS, IBM MQ, Db2 for z/OS, SQL, Test Execution, Defect Management, Regression Testing, Integration Testing.
