Role Description The Machine Operator role at Screwbee Fasteners is a full-time, on-site position located in Nagercoil. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring machines used in the production of drywall screws and other fastening products. Day-to-day tasks include loading materials, adjusting machine settings, performing basic maintenance checks, and ensuring the machinery runs safely and efficiently. The Machine Operator is responsible for inspecting output, identifying defects, and following established quality standards and safety procedures. The role also requires clear communication with supervisors and team members regarding production status, issues, and improvements.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate and monitor production machinery, with strong Machine Operation skills.
- Knowledge of Quality Control practices to inspect products and identify defects.
- Experience working with Machinery and Hand Tools in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Effective Communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
- Understanding of basic safety procedures and willingness to follow workplace safety guidelines.
- Prior experience in a factory, manufacturing, or fasteners production environment is an advantage.
- Basic educational qualification (such as high school or equivalent); technical training or certification in machine operation is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, handle repetitive tasks, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
