Role Description This is a full-time, on-site management role based in Digras, focused on leveraging 17 years of IT sector experience to support and enhance administrative operations. The role involves overseeing IT-enabled processes, coordinating with various departments to streamline workflows, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting of administrative activities. The manager will monitor project progress, support implementation of digital initiatives, and help maintain compliance with relevant policies and procedures. Daily responsibilities include supervising staff, resolving operational issues, analyzing data for decision-making, and communicating effectively with senior officials and external stakeholders. The role also involves proposing improvements to existing systems, supporting training for team members on IT tools, and contributing to long-term planning for technology-driven governance.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience, preferably with 10+ years in supervisory or leadership roles within the IT or public administration domain.
- Strong background in IT operations, including familiarity with software systems, data management, and technology-driven workflow optimization.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage projects, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced administrative environment.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities, especially in process improvement and policy implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with government procedures, public service delivery, or district-level administration is highly beneficial.
