Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Operations Associate with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce or logistics fulfillment environment. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day inbound and outbound movement, coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) partners and carriers, manage inventory health across fulfillment centers, and optimize fulfillment workflows. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, leverages data to solve delivery bottlenecks, and ensures high customer satisfaction through seamless order dispatches.
Key Responsibilities1. Daily Logistics & Carrier Management- Outbound Coordination: Monitor daily order queues across multi-channel fulfillment platforms (Amazon FBA, Shopify, Quick Commerce, etc.) to ensure timely picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Carrier SLA Management: Liaise with local and regional 3PL logistics partners, couriers, and freight forwarders to manage SLAs, pickup schedules, transit times, and delivery performance.
- Exceptions & Escalations: Identify and resolve dispatch failures, delayed shipments, unlinked orders, and damaged/lost inventory issues in real time.
2. Inventory & Warehouse Operations- Stock Replenishment: Track multi-channel inventory levels to coordinate inbound stock movements between main warehouses, regional hubs, and fulfillment centers (e.g., FBA / Dark Stores) to prevent stockouts.
- Warehouse Systems (WMS/ERP): Record and update all inbound receipts, dispatches, stock transfers, and adjustments in the company’s ERP / Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Audits & Reconciliations: Conduct routine physical inventory audits, reconciliation of physical vs. system stock, and shrinkage analysis.
3. Reverse Logistics & Return Processing- Return Authorization: Oversee the end-to-end Return To Origin (RTO) and customer return processes.
- Quality Check & Sorting: Coordinate with warehouse teams to inspect returned merchandise, categorize items (resellable, refurbish, liquidate), and re-enter usable stock into inventory promptly.
4. Analytics, MIS & Cost Optimization- Performance Tracking: Generate daily and weekly operational metrics, including On-Time In-Full (OTIF) rates, Order Lead Time, First Mile/Last Mile SLA adherence, and RTO percentages.
- Cost Management: Audit carrier freight invoices, identify freight billing discrepancies, and monitor logistics cost per order to support margin improvement.
Required Qualifications & Experience- Experience: 2–3 years of proven operational experience in e-commerce, a D2C brand, third-party logistics (3PL), or freight/fulfillment operations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Hands-on Platform Skills: Deep understanding of e-commerce channels (Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, Flipkart/Blinkit seller portals, etc.) and fulfillment models (FBA, Seller-Flex, Direct-to-Consumer).
- Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, Index-Match, Pivot Tables, data cleaning) and hands-on familiarity with WMS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Zoho Inventory, Unicommerce, Vinculum, or similar).
