Role Description
The Dispatch & Logistics officer will be responsible for efficient warehousing including receiving, inventory, dispatch, return, logistics and delivery of goods from the warehouse or plant to various destinations. This role involves coordinating the dispatch process, tracking deliveries, ensuring timely product delivery, and maintaining proper documentation to ensure smooth Dispatch & logistics operations.

Duties / Key Job Responsibilities :
1. Execute day-to-day dispatch operations and ensure on-time vehicle loading/unloading.
2. Verify product quantity, batch number, and expiry details before dispatch.
3. Supervise loading of vehicles ensuring FIFO (First In, First Out) and adherence to cold chain requirements.
4. Check vehicle hygiene, temperature, and sealing before dispatch.
5. Prepare dispatch-related documents (challans, gate passes, invoices)
6. Coordinate with production, quality, and transport teams for dispatch planning.
7. Accurate receiving and inventory management for finished products.
8. Maintain records of dispatches, vehicle movement, and delivery schedules.
9. Manage route planning, trip sheet preparation, and tracking vehicle status.
10. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness on the dispatch floor, loading docks, and vehicle bays in line with food safety and dairy compliance norms
Qualifications & Experience :
- Graduation in any stream or degree/diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 0-4 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, or warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
