Role Description The Life Planning Officer is responsible for helping clients understand and select suitable life insurance and financial planning solutions across protection, child education, retirement, savings, investment, and health plans. Day-to-day activities include meeting clients, assessing their financial and life-stage needs, explaining product features, preparing customized proposals, and supporting clients through the application and policy issuance process. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, coordinating with internal teams for policy servicing, and participating in outreach or customer education initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Qualifications
- Strong planning and project planning skills to design and manage comprehensive life and financial plans for clients.
- Analytical skills to assess client needs, evaluate risk profiles, and recommend appropriate insurance and investment solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex financial concepts clearly and build long-term client relationships.
- Understanding of urban planning or local socioeconomic dynamics in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region to contextualize client needs is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business, economics, or a related field; relevant certifications in insurance or financial planning are preferred.
- Prior experience in life insurance, financial advisory, or customer-facing financial services roles is beneficial.
- Ability to work with targets, manage time effectively, and maintain high ethical standards and regulatory compliance.
