Key highlights of the project include- ~5.2 mn sq. ft. Grade-A Warehousing Space, Commercial Space, Customs Bonded Area along with 6 railway sidings and 4 lane road connectivity from NH-648.
Role Summary:
The Manager - Marketing at PATH Logicity is responsible for creating and implementing the Marketing and Sales strategies of MMLP, PATH Logicity, Bengaluru. In collaboration with the owners and stakeholders of the PATH India Ltd. he will create the Business Plan for the MMLP at Dobaspet.
Job Description:
- Reporting directly to the CEO, the Manager - Marketing is accountable for identifying the different multimodal services that will be offered to customers at the MMLP.
- Responsible for actively leasing the warehouses built at various stages under Ready-to-Move (RTM) and Built-to-Suit (BTS) model.
- Responsible for identifying the categories of customers who have to be targeted for these services.
- A lean marketing and sales organization shall be created by the GM - Marketing with approval from the MD/Directors to deliver on the sales targets.
- The Manager - Marketing will identify Channel Partners for growing the business of the company and shall coordinate sales operations with them.
- Actively identify partners for the railway terminal operations along with Bonded Warehouses and ICD
- Prepare and present a monthly and annual budget for MD’s/Director’s approval and thereafter monitor its implementation.
- Responsible for seamless integration of operations between Warehousing and Contract Logistics, Rail Based Businesses and Handling and Transportation (H&T) activities.
- Responsible for maximizing the goods movement through railway operations and garnering customers for leasing the Open Warehouse & Yard areas.
- Will be the primary liaison for the Company with the Indian Railways for all aspects relating to approvals of Rail siding Projects until commissioning. He will also liaison with the Consultant for obtaining required Customs notifications.
- Process Excellence and Compliance
- Ensure proper compliance with the requirements of the NHLML (the Authority)
- and provisions of various statutory acts of Indian Railways and Customs
- Take accountability for maintenance of accurate documentation control at all key nodes including Entry and Exit Points
- Drive Process Excellence for the MMLP as per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all levels in the hierarchy to ensure maximum utilization of resources
- Plan periodic in-house audits to test compliance to procedures and ensure readiness for external operational audits or for audits conducted by Process Excellence team to check compliance
- Establish processes to identify areas of continuous improvement in day-to-day operations and review progress on the same
- Manage performance of all direct reports and ensure that individual and team morale and motivation is positive
- Carry out periodic appraisals of team members and mentor them on the basis of the shortcomings noticed during the appraisal process
- Coach Team Leaders to develop their team’s capabilities, build a strong succession pipeline for the role and ensure adequate manning at each level
- Review manpower requirement periodically to ensure adequate availability while optimizing expenditure on manpower
- Support capability building by providing inputs in development & delivery of required training programs
