Job details:
ABOUT THE १००० DAYS COLLECTIVE: The १००० Days Collective is K Corp Charitable Foundation's flagship platform for improving outcomes in a child's first 1,000 days of life, from conception to age two. It brings together government, NGOs, funders, corporates and communities around a shared agenda: to identify the highest-impact levers, drive evidence-based action, scale what works through public systems and bring about change at the policy level.
ABOUT THE ROLE: As Lead, you will take the Collective into its next phase of growth. You will be its strategic integrator and primary driver, building alignment across stakeholders, holding partners accountable for agreed action, and moving the Collective from a platform for collaboration to one that delivers demonstrable, scalable impact. You will strengthen the Collective's strategy, partnerships and governance, create regional chapters, and build a strong national network of organisations committed to improving outcomes in the first 1,000 days. You will own its vision, its momentum and its results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Set direction: Shape the Collective's strategy, theory of change and long-term roadmap.
• Build partnerships: Develop and manage relationships across government, NGOs, funders, corporates and technical partners.
• Grow the network: Establish regional chapters and build a national network of organisations and stakeholders working on the first 1,000 days.
• Establish governance: Set up the core committee, working groups and review cadence, and turn decisions into action.
• Drive delivery: Own the action plan, including milestones, owners, budgets and disciplined on-ground execution.
• Stay evidence-led: Work closely with the Impact & Scale-up Lead to ground strategy in evidence and identify what is ready to scale.
• Mobilise resources: Build the funding and partnership case to bring new resources into the Collective.
• Communicate and coordinate: Work closely with the core committee and sub-committees, and set up structured communication channels.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
• 3–5 years in programme leadership, collective impact or coalition-building, ideally in public health, nutrition or early childhood development.
• Proven experience working across government, NGOs, funders and multi-stakeholder ecosystems.
• Preferred: Postgraduate degree in public health, development studies, social work, public policy, management or a related field.
• Minimum: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, supported by strong experience in the sector.
