Job Title: Lead Software Engineer
Department: Immersive Technologies
Location: Vapi, Gujarat
Reports To: Immersive Technologies Lead
Experience: 7–9+ Years
Job Purpose:
To provide technical leadership for the development, integration, verification, and evolution of two computer-assisted Total Knee Replacement (TKR) navigation platforms being developed within a shared multidisciplinary engineering team.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 7–9+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience delivering production-grade medical-device software, surgical navigation systems, embedded vision products, or other regulated real-time systems.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams of 5+ engineers.
• Strong experience with software architecture and system-level technical leadership.
• Strong experience in Android architecture and application development, preferably including:
• Android Studio
• Multi-module architecture
• Camera2
• JNI / Native integration
• Experience with PC/workstation application development using technologies such as C#, C++, Qt, or equivalent is preferred.
• Practical understanding of optical tracking, pose estimation, registration, and computer-vision pipelines.
• Experience with regulated product development and verification processes.
• Experience working with hardware/software integration.
• Experience with Git and professional software development workflows.
• Experience in orthopaedic navigation, TKR/TKA, surgical robotics, medical imaging, or computer-assisted surgery is highly preferred.

• Understanding of medical-device design controls and traceability.
• Strong Git/version-control practices.
• Ability to analyze system-level performance, accuracy, reliability, and integration issues.
